Questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser, so your PDFs never leave your device and nobody else can see them.
Which languages can the text use?
Text watermarks use the PDF's built-in Helvetica font, which covers English and other Latin-based languages. For other scripts, make an image of the text and use the logo option.
Can someone remove the watermark?
A watermark makes copying obvious but isn't a security feature: anyone with a PDF editor can remove it. To stop people opening a file, protect it with a password instead.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
A PDF that needs a password to open, or that blocks editing, is refused with a message instead of producing a broken file. If you know the password, remove it with Unlock PDF first, then add the unlocked file here.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 50 PDFs at once and 50 MB per file. Very long documents work too; the page count only depends on your device's memory.
